Any bloggers in the health and fitness niche who want to exchange links?

US/UK only

I started writing a paper about dogs and showed it to my mom.

She said I should start a blog. I really want to know. I also learned that I can earn money (probably not much, but I can hope!) as I was also trying to find ways to get some money recently. How do I ask her to help me start one. I really want to get my opinion out there. I’m afraid she may say I’m “too young”.

TIA!

Do you use your own email address?

I would like to have a newsletter on my blog, but it seems I might need to buy a dedicated email address for my domain. Is it possible to send emails through my own personal email, but make it seem like the address is actually something else (redirect)? Has anyone done that? Or do you spend money every month on a dedicated email address?

Tips on finding my voice

I’ve been blogging a tiny bit, paid the money for a site, and want to learn more about mushrooms while sharing with the world the beauty of fungus! The problem is, I don’t know how to go about writing my posts without just regurgitating information or summarizing other websites. Any advice?

Need some guidance

Hello everyone

i wanted to ask for some guidance on blogging or building a website. I am really lost with which route to take and how to go about it.

i was laid off due to Covid. And currently on unemployment. I want to have a focus on gaming specifically competitive gaming on my favorite game. i want to do competitive news and previous winners of tournaments as well as how to get better to compete in these tournaments.

i also wanted to do patch notes and game changes

as well as best hardware for the game to get the best experience

updates on equipment and map changes as well as bugs.

I'm so lost i recently bought a go-daddy website builder and started building it and got stuck and decided i should probably do a blog style site Because my info will be updated regularly so i purchased word-press with blue host. And now i'm just lost especially with writing my first post.

i am very passionate about this game and competitive games in general and would like to possibly make a career out of it. Or at least get things rolling while on unemployment

i guess long story short should i stick with the word press blog site, or go with the Go daddy website. Which will get more attention (Word press seems a lot more confusing to me then the website builder with go daddy but i heard they suck.

is this even a good idea at all ?

My dream is to work from home doing what i love

(PS) i know every young person wants to make a gaming blog but im willing to put in the work to make this happen.

Should I merge my two blogs?

Hey folks, long time lurker, first-time poster. I've been blogging for years but never seriously, I just love to write. I currently run two blogs, mostly for fun and with not-so-set schedules.

My older, more popular blog is a personal lifestyle blog where I can write almost diary-like about big issues in my life. I've written about diet changes, my struggles with my day job, and promoted my poetry book on this blog.

My second blog is about my journey toward a nomadic lifestyle and skews toward a specific travel-based niche, think #VanLife vibes. Unfortunately, I stopped posting so much on this blog because of the virus and how it really stagnated my progress, but now I am returning to work on the project and will soon live full-time on the road. The dream for this blog was for it to chronicle the early building and planning process, and then eventually morph into a very niche travel blog.

It just occurred to me that as a full-time traveler, my personal blog could very easily become a travel blog as well. I could find other topics to write about, but I worry that I would always feel like I'm drawing some line in the sand between what is "travel lifestyle blogging" and what is just regular "lifestyle blogging by a traveler." I don't want to feel creatively confined when I sit down to write, always worried about which aesthetic I am trying to fit.

Both of the blogs are simple wordpress .com sites, nothing fancy. Should I just bite the bullet now and consolidate both blogs into one?
