Content writing tips for new bloggers

Content is King!

You have probably heard it a hundred times.

But don't know how to write content that actually works like a charm (engaging, interesting and stick the readers to your site)?

Here are a few tips...

1. Headings / Title

Write Catchy Headlines. No one clicks on a BORING HEADLINE in SERPs.

Use POWER WORDS in your headlines. Here are a few examples of Power Words...

New, Free, Fix, How to, Secret, Unlock, Risk free, Lifetime and the list goes on. Just Google "POWER WORDS" and you will get hundreds of examples.

1. Introduction

Master the art of starting your article with a story / pain point / desire / interest / dream / outcomes / benefits.

Stories are most of the times relatable and make the reader stick to your article.

If you don't know how to write a story, head over to Amazon and read the 5 star and 1-star customer reviews. You will get the good and the bad stories.

1. Use a friendly and conversational tone and use the words You and I.

2. Write SHORT SENTENCES and SHORT PARAGRAPHS (3-4 lines max in a para).

There are so many good sites you can learn from (Neil Patel, Backlinko, ahrefs, copyblogger, and copy hacker are just a few).

1. Back your opinion with some Data / Statistics / Facts / Numbers.

This shows the article is well-researched and creates credibility.
