I miss a kind of blogging that sort of feels like it doesn't exist anymore -- where folks wrote about nothing and everything and there was community. It feels like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram sucked up all the air for this sort of thing. It's instant, fast, and the content is easier to digest. MMMM brunch pictures.
But it really doesn't feel the same. It's harder to reflect on things that have happened. And I never feel like I learn anything about people because I only see staged Instagram pictures. Before, I used to read stories.
Wondering if anyone feels the same way? Are there other places where this kind of journal-blogging happens these days?
