What's your process for scheduling time for writing?

I apologize if this is considered a "beginners question". But for those of you that post more than once a week, how do you go about planing when you're going to write, edit, etc. I'm trying to get more organized and figure out what works best. I've seen some posts about writing all your posts for the month in 1-2 days at the beginning of the month, while others write at the beginning of every week. What's worked best in your experience?
