Okay, a friend asked me for help with her new blog. I blogged quite some time ago when all you had to do was submit a url to search engines and it was done. She is using the free version of Wordpress and would like to submit it to search engines. I downloaded the Google Search Console for her and all the options to verify the site only seem compatible with paid Wordpress sites. Is there any way to verify a free Wordpress site and get this blog listed on any search engines? Is there a way using Google Search Console? Or any other search engines for that matter? Sorry, it’s like I’m brand new to this since so much has changed and since it’s not my blog ... putting forth enormous effort to figure this out feels ... I lack motivation for it. So, if anyone just knows if I’m wasting time since she’s using the free service please let me know. Or, if you know of a sure way to get this blog on any search engine, please let me know. I would be quite grateful for any help 😊 I’m willing to do it if there’s a way ...
