I have never been the person to articulate myself well in verbal form. Instead, writing often comes easier to me. But posting something to the internet can sometimes be a bit much. So, before posting or instead of it, I turn to people I know, like or admire. This has sparked some cool conversations. Today, they rot in my email inbox or the endless void that is my Facebook messenger. I always wanted a place to discuss things with people in long-format and give others the opportunity to read into my conversations if they'd like. Naturally, I thought of the concept of creative/academic letter exchanges such as the beautiful conversations between Simone de Beauvoir and Satré or Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud.

I got so obsessed over the idea of a place where it would be possible to follow conversations between artists, thinkers, authors, and scientists that I started building it. I set out to build a place that, ideally, mirrors the bandwidth of human creativity, emotions, and needs.

About a week ago I launched the first version of that platform and I really enjoy writing on it myself. Now I hope to find more creators who believe in the value of such a place and join the mission (it is not monetized in any way, no ads, I received an AWS sponsorship for the servers and build it myself).

The platform is called Eightygram (which is the standard weight for paper in the metric system) and it offers "A Canvas for Beautiful Conversation". It's still very early but I'd love all feedback.
