I'm preparing to go live with my site, and the one thing I haven't figured out yet, is how I should monetize my site.
I've noticed on certain sites that they might have ads that don't seem to be related to the content of the site. I would very much like to avoid this. My site is related to music, and I would like the ads on my site to be music related as well.
I also want to make sure the ads fit into my site organically, and are aesthetically pleasing (well, as aesthetically pleasing as an ad can be, I guess).
I would be open to either affiliate marketing, or more traditional ads, as long as they fit the above criteria.
What would you recommend, based on the information I've provided?
Would I be eligible for any advertising programs, without much traffic? My site is just launching, so I don't have many visitors as of yet.
