Hi guys. I’m relatively new to blogging. I started with my blog about 3 months ago and have been trying to build it up ever since, with absolutely no success (still zero readers).
I am finding the posts not too difficult to produce (I am an English major with a focus in writing). But I’ve learned that I am god awful with computers.
This is true for pretty much every aspect of the website. As far as development, I will get stuck on a small problem, such as a missing side bar, get stuck on it for hours, and have a mental breakdown. Then I watch my boyfriend find the solution in less than a minute.
I’m also complete trash at SEO. I’ve been trying to study it in every way possible, but I just don’t understand it. I’ve tried working on just getting the name of my website to come up in google search results. But no matter what I do, it won’t come up until the 3rd or 4th page of results.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and everyone says that if I want to start a career as a writer I need to make a blog. But I can honestly say I’m horrible at it.
I may be a good writer, but I am complete shit with computers. Should I give up on my blog?
