I know it is impossible to get rid of copycats, and we all borrow information from someone else's work here and there, so none of us is entirely innocent.
But how do you deal with situations in which you spend hours, if not days, to do research, verify the validity of the information you plan to claim/provide, research on keywords, write your articles carefully, do editing, etc. just to find out a few minutes after you post your work that someone else has simply copy-pasted yours to theirs?
Some copycats do put in some work by paraphrasing the text to avoid Google's ranking penalties, but even so, having all the information available for you to paraphrase takes a lot less time and effort than doing the work yourself.
Any advice is greatly greatly appreciated!
