I'm a first time blogger, and I'm currently in the process of setting up my website. I'm trying to get a good picture for the "About the Author" section, but I suck at doing my own makeup, and I kind of look like a goblin. Has anyone gotten their makeup done for a site headshot? I'm contemplating just photographing some of my crafting supplies arranged nicely, and keeping that as a placeholder until everything calms down, as I'm currently high risk for respiratory illnesses due to pregnancy.
