Will the end of the domain(.com/.net/.org)affect your blog's traffic

I'm planning to start a fashion blog and I chose a domain name ending with a .net,was wondering if the end of the domain (.net) would cut down my blogs traffic in future compared to a more popular one like .com.Maybe because it would be harder to remember?or some other reason
