I didn't buy the "Privacy Protection" or whatever it's called while buying the domain, and now getting calls from telemarketers who know my name/mobile and other details... (more in desc)

If I buy that privacy thingy now will my name be "erased" or whatever from their list? Will I still get calls. Can people look up the owner of my site and find me lol?

Not doing anything weird, just a skincare blog but I'd prefer not to be known.
